Job summary

Cayuse Language Connect, LLC is seeking Mandarin Dialects Interpreters to provide real-time interpretation for court settings across the United States. The role requires proficiency in English and Mandarin dialects, with strict confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions.

Interpreters will work on a part-time hourly basis and may be onsite as needed by the courts, with remote opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of court interpretation, immigration, trafficking, hearings.
• Native or near-native fluency in English and Mandarin Dialects (Min, Wu, Yue, Jin, Gan, Hakka, Xiang, Huizhou, Pinghua).
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act impartially.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken communication in real time.
• Clarify non-verbal cues and culture-specific concepts when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions.
• Complete required documentation, logs, and reports.
• Comply with applicable laws and client policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
