Palo Alto Networks is seeking a seasoned Professional Services Consultant for Cortex XSIAM to lead end-to-end SOC modernization projects. You will guide enterprise customers through log migration, design threat detection, and engineer security automation playbooks with Python-driven integrations.

The role emphasizes hands-on SIEM engineering, correlation logic, and SOAR automation, with travel up to 10% for on-site workshops and design sessions. Remote-friendly with global collaboration.

Competenze

• Minimum 6+ years deploying and managing enterprise SIEM solutions.
• At least 4+ years in SOC tooling, incident response lifecycles, and security analysis.
• Experience building playbooks, configuring rules, and managing Cortex integrations.
• Proficient in Python for security tool integration and automation scripting.
• Strong regex and log parsing skills for diverse data sources.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.

Mansioni

• Design onboarding, ingestion, and parsing of logs into Cortex XSIAM.
• Build and tune correlation and detection rules across endpoints, network, and cloud.
• Monitor log source performance and detection logic for efficiency.
• Analyze SOC processes and automate workflows with XSIAM playbooks.
• Write Python integrations to connect Cortex XSIAM with third-party tools and APIs.
• Deploy and manage content packs, layouts, and automated dashboards.
• Serve as SME on Cortex XSIAM, SIEM architecture, and SOAR best practices.
• Collaborate with security stakeholders to define metrics and automation roadmaps.
• Create technical design docs to enable long-term customer autonomy.
