Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Corporate Counsel (P&C) to support a growing insurance business and work directly with leaders who make day-to-day decisions. You’ll draft and negotiate carrier agreements, MGA/MGU programs, and client service agreements while advising on regulatory matters and risk management.

The role requires a JD, active US license, and 5+ years in the P&C space. This is fully remote with strong collaboration across teams and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and an active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of legal experience in property and casualty insurance.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Understanding of P&C operations and how carriers, brokers, and intermediaries work together.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate carrier agreements and NDAs.
• Advise teams on P&C operations and regulatory matters.
• Identify legal and business risks in agreements and propose practical solutions.
• Support MGA/MGU operations and carrier relationships.
• Provide timely, business-focused legal guidance.
