Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers seeks a contract specialist to draft, review, and administer contracts across the lifecycle—from initial request through renewal and closeout. You’ll collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and internal teams to resolve issues, support negotiations, and ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely delivery, and managing multiple contracts and priorities in a remote/hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, contract management, procurement or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in contract administration or procurement.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and commercial agreements.
• Experience reviewing terms, SOWs, pricing schedules, and vendor agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and administer contracts, amendments, statements of work, and related docs.
• Coordinate the contract lifecycle from request through execution, renewal, and closeout.
• Review terms, pricing, milestones, and performance for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support negotiations with vendors, clients, and service providers.
• Monitor obligations, renewals, deliverables, deadlines, and compliance.
• Maintain organized contract records and approval information.
• Identify risks and compliance issues and elevate as needed.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and status updates.
• Track performance, spending, changes, and commitments.
• Assist with RFPs, bids, and other procurement-related contracts.
• Coordinate contract approvals and ensure signatures and docs.
• Support modifications, extensions, renewals, and terminations.
• Communicate requirements to internal teams and external parties.
• Ensure contracts comply with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve contract administration processes.
