Job summary

Montech Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Contract Specialist III to support the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), OCFO. The role covers the full acquisition lifecycle from planning and solicitation to administration, modifications, and closeout.

The Place of Performance is Remote. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. You will serve as a business advisor to program officials, ensuring procurement actions comply with

Qualifications

Consulting Experience: demonstrated ability to develop solutions and recommendations across tasks and projects.
Federal contracting expertise: knowledge of contracting laws, regulations, and procedures.
Acquisition knowledge: understanding of acquisition methods, contract types, and documentation requirements.
Program and technical expertise: ability to evaluate requirements, approaches, and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

Advises program officials on procurement of supplies and services, source selection, price evaluations, contract administration, and closeout.
Monitors contractor performance, progress payments, schedules, deliveries, and change orders; supports resolution of issues.
Performs cost/price analyses and supports development of solicitation pricing.
Prepares determinations, findings, and negotiation positions for complex acquisitions.
Drafts contract modifications and supports post-award actions including stop-work orders and closeout actions.
