Job summary

Jobot is seeking a licensed attorney in good standing to serve as Lead Attorney on family law cases. This remote contract role offers 5–15 hours per week with a rate of $75–$100 per hour.

You will manage cases end-to-end, including trial preparation, while maintaining client communication and strong organization. Ideal candidates reside within reasonable travel distance to the courthouse and can meet clients locally as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of family law experience, including trial work and strong knowledge of state family law procedures and court rules.
• Must reside within reasonable travel distance of courthouse and be able to meet clients locally if needed.
• Familiarity with Clio legal software and Math4Law is a plus.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with NO disciplinary history in ANY state.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide variety of family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorce cases, custody disputes, and related issues
• Take full ownership of cases from start to finish, including trial preparation and appearances
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
• Maintain strong organizational practices and attention to detail
• Work remotely, with occasional in-person meetings or court appearances
• Optional: Additional practice areas may include estate planning, criminal law, and general civil litigation
