Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote Summer Internship in its Content organization. You will explore multiple focus areas from Content Strategy to Development and Programming, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape programming and data-driven decision making.

The program welcomes all majors, with preferred backgrounds in Media & Entertainment, Management, CS, Data Analytics, or Leadership. A strong analytical mindset and Excel/PowerPoint proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

Open to all majors; Preferred: Media & Entertainment, Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Leadership tracks.
Passion for the entertainment industry (business or technology side).
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Experience working in cross-functional environments.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
Nice to have: Familiarity with AI LLMs for research, benchmarking, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Support Content Strategy & Development initiatives with data analysis, dashboards, and presentations.
Assist Content Contracts & Compliance with data audits, database tools, and reporting automation.
Contribute to Content & Programming by analyzing channel performance and aiding project management.
Help Content Development with concept exploration and cross-functional collaboration on live-channel launches.
