Job summary

Experian is seeking an Expert Compliance Risk Advisor to guide regulatory risk management in our Financial Services and Data division. You will collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and business teams to assess compliance risks and drive practical solutions that strengthen controls.

This remote role reports to the Compliance Director. You will support regulatory exams, maintain knowledge of privacy laws (FCRA, FACTA, GLBA), and work with BUs to remediate issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and three years' experience in regulatory risk and compliance/audit processes.
• Knowledge of federal and state privacy laws and regulations, including FCRA, FACTA, and GLBA.
• Understand complex business issues and develop practical resolving strategies.
• Comfortable working independently and in teams.
• Strong research, problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide regulatory risk assessment and support regulatory exams with business teams.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and other stakeholders to enhance control effectiveness.
• Lead practical solutions to address control breakdowns and remediation of issues.
• Act as SME during regulatory exams and prepare meeting materials.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
