Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director of Competitive Intelligence in San Diego to monitor external scientific and market developments, synthesize data across sources, and deliver actionable insights to cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on congress intelligence, knowledge management, and external landscape monitoring across Travere’s portfolio, requiring 8+ years in biotech/pharma CI and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in biotechnology/pharmaceuticals, CI, or related fields.
• Strong ability to lead competitive intelligence projects and manage multiple workstreams.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the external environment for scientific, regulatory, clinical, and commercial developments relevant to Travere’s portfolio.
• Develop and maintain competitive landscape assessments, competitor profiles, asset summaries, and trial trackers.
• Identify significant developments and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Synthesize information from literature, trials, regulatory disclosures, and investor communications.
• Prepare concise CI reports and updates for diverse internal audiences.
