Job summary

DIRECTV is redefining the future of entertainment and invites you to a Summer Intern role in corporate communications, project management, and event logistics. This remote internship provides hands-on experience and a chance to impact the organization.

You will support internal campaigns, plan employee events, craft content, analyze processes, and collaborate across teams on comms strategies. Open to Communications or Business majors; strong Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and Canva skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Communications majors preferred but open to Business Administration, Business Management, Operations, Public Relations and Marketing
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and Canva
• Project Management experience
• Strong and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable speaking with and presenting to leaders
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a desire to learn and grow
• Demonstrated success collaborating cross functionally in a virtual environment
• Organized and can effectively prioritize across teams
• Critical/strategic thinker and problem solver with a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of internal communication campaigns
• Assist in planning and coordinating employee events
• Craft compelling content that fosters engagement and culture
• Analyze current processes and make recommendations to close identified gaps
• Collaborate cross functionally on communication strategies
• Leading and supporting high-impact special projects
