Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote internship in corporate communications. You will gain hands-on experience in internal campaigns, event logistics, and crafting engaging content.

You will analyze processes, collaborate across teams, and support high-impact projects while presenting to leaders. Eligible candidates include Communications majors or related fields with strong Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and Canva skills.

Qualifications

• Communications major preferred but open to related fields.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and Canva.
• Project management experience.
• Strong and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable presenting to leaders.
• Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a desire to learn.
• Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally in a virtual environment.
• Organized and able to prioritise across teams.
• Critical/strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of internal communication campaigns.
• Assist in planning and coordinating employee events.
• Craft compelling content that fosters engagement and culture.
• Analyze current processes and make recommendations to close identified gaps.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on communication strategies.
• Lead and support high-impact special projects.
