The compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000, with additional origination commissions and flexible, remote-friendly work options. Ideal candidates must be licensed to practice in New York and/or Texas.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 5 years of dedicated commercial litigation practice experience.
  • Active and in good standing to practice law in New York and/or Texas.
  • Demonstrated track record of billing at least 1,800 hours per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a robust caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Meet or exceed a target of 1,800 billable hours per year.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and comprehensive legal briefs.
  • Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and potentially trial proceedings.
