Vanguard College Prep is seeking full-time Essay Specialists to help high schoolers craft authentic, powerful application essays. Our specialists don’t just edit words — they shape futures. This 100% remote, flexible role offers competitive pay and a collaborative culture.

You’ll conduct live 1-on-1 video brainstorming sessions, edit narratives and supplemental essays, and log hours with a few core hours for team meetings. A Bachelor’s degree and editing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from US schools.
• Ideally 2+ years of editing experience, preferably in college admissions.
• Strong editing skills and mastery of the English language.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a private workspace without noise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live 1-on-1 video brainstorming sessions with students, then provide drafting and editorial feedback.
• Work on a project basis on both narrative and supplemental essays.
• Collaborate with teams to provide in-depth feedback on essay drafts and edits.
• Model professionalism by managing production schedules and logging hours.
