Job summary

micro1 is seeking highly skilled coding puzzle solvers to contribute to an AI training project focused on algorithmic reasoning, debugging, and reproducible software solutions. The role is a contractor position with approximately 15 hours per week and a flexible schedule, including weekends if desired.

This fully remote, global opportunity offers pay between $50 and $80 per hour. Candidates should be proficient in at least one general-purpose language and comfortable working in terminal

Qualifications

• Proven ability to solve algorithmic puzzles and coding problems.
• Experience with terminal-based development environments and tools.
• Ability to produce reproducible, testable software solutions.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Solve self-contained coding, logic, debugging, and technical reasoning challenges.
• Analyze unfamiliar problems and translate requirements into implementable solutions.
• Select appropriate algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving strategies.
• Work inside terminal-based development environments and existing codebases.
• Implement correct and efficient solutions in a programming language.
• Identify ambiguous requirements, edge cases, hidden assumptions, and failures.
• Debug incorrect behavior across code, tests, dependencies, and environments.
• Develop tests and verification methods to distinguish correct solutions.
• Review AI-generated solutions for logic errors and constraints.
• Produce clear, reproducible solutions for automatic evaluation.
