Democratism educates the public about ways to make government and other social systems more democratic. We are working to restore constitutional governance and create a fair, democratic election system.,

Your state and local governments have the power and the duty to defend the U.S. Constitution and stand up to the federal government's attack on our democracy. Democratism is a nonpartisan organization working to activate state and local officials to help stop the authoritarian takeover and restore the rule of law nationwide, starting with our proposed Restore the Constitution Act.

As a volunteer Coalition-Builder, you build a local coalition for this effort in your own community. You should be ready to reach out to people, make connections, and bring organizations and allies into the work. You will not do it alone we provide guidance and support, and research on whom to approach. But the outreach and the relationships are yours to make.

This is for a Maryland resident who wants to organize in their own community. It is remote and self-paced, and we help you personally as you get started. You would be one of a small group of volunteers taking this on in different states, comparing notes and backing each other up.
