Job summary

GT School/Gt Anywhere seeks a Learning Coach to mentor gifted K–8 students in a fully remote setting. You will guide enthusiasm for learning, accelerate mastery, and foster autonomous thinking through weekly coaching sessions and life-skills workshops.

The role emphasizes coaching over content delivery, using dashboards to track progress and communicating with families about student growth and challenges. This is a contractor of record with Crossover, offering a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in any field.
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students.
• At least 6 months working with gifted students in an educational, coaching, or mentoring setting.
• Proven high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts.
• Strong virtual presence and ability to connect with students quickly over Zoom/Google Meet.
• Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance.
• Ability to maintain at least 80 percent overlap with US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biweekly individual virtual coaching appointments focusing on target-setting, growth mindset, and motivation.
• Host accessible office hours for spontaneous guidance and problem-solving.
• Design and deliver virtual life-skills sessions for gifted learners by age group.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and dashboards to monitor progress and adjust tactics.
• Record observations, alerts, and adjustments to keep students advancing rapidly.
• Maintain proactive communication with families about achievements and challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share practices and refine the coaching framework.
