Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites across North America. You will perform equipment commissioning, end-user training, and remote support when not in the field, ensuring optimal performance of CNC equipment and related products.

The role requires an Electronics Technology background or 3+ years’ experience, travel up to 75%, and strong troubleshooting, communication, and tool-handling skills. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Proficiency reading electrical schematics.
• Ability to use a handheld volt/amp meter.
• Commitment to travel 75% of the year throughout North America (US, Canada, Mexico).

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite training, commissioning, and repair of CNC equipment and related products with quality workmanship and strong attention to detail.
• Provide technical support onsite or by phone for new and existing customers.
• Troubleshoot and define root cause of failure as it relates to software, mechanical, and electrical components.
