Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Cyber Engineer to advance our Continuous Threat Exposure Management journey. You will identify, track, and verify remediation of vulnerabilities across internal and external apps and systems while coordinating with IT infrastructure and security operations teams.

You will help architect, deploy, and operate secure cloud application infrastructure, applying strong engineering and design skills to support scalable, compliant security controls across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8 years of related experience or equivalent
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure cloud and on-premise processes with architects and engineers.
• Lead vulnerability management and coordinate remediation with leadership and business units.
• Assess threats and adapt security controls to reduce business risk across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments.
• Document policies and controls, ensuring alignment with privacy and compliance frameworks.
• Communicate security guidance and KPIs to stakeholders and teams.
