Proven Recruiting, Inc. is hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer for a remote US role focused on migration of Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC High, Azure projects, and practical cloud/infrastructure work for defense contracting clients.

You will own migrations end-to-end, configure and troubleshoot hybrid environments, ensure security aligned with CMMC/NIST, and collaborate with customers and engineers to keep environments reliable and scalable.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience in support, admin, and engineering.
• Direct hands-on GCC/GCC High migrations required.
• Migrated Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint workloads.
• Strong Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy skills.
• Experience with desktop migrations and user profiles.
• U.S. citizen; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC High migrations from discovery through post-migration support.
• Deliver Azure infrastructure migrations and customer onboarding projects.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and on‑premises systems.
• Handle desktop and user profile transitions post-migration.
• Implement security configurations for CMMC/NIST compliance.
• Resolve escalated issues, document work, and follow procedures.
• Collaborate with customers and fellow engineers to move projects forward.
