Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer in a fully remote role. You will design and build scalable, automated data systems using AWS-native services and drive reliable data pipelines and warehouses for global projects.

Leveraging Python and SQL, you will transform raw data into insights while ensuring data quality, security, and governance. This position offers flexible hours and a 100% remote work culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
• Experience building data pipelines with AWS-native services (Glue, Lambda, S3).
• Designing and managing data warehouses with Amazon Redshift.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong SQL and Python for data transformation and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage end-to-end data pipelines with AWS Glue, Lambda, and Kinesis.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and storage with Redshift and S3.
• Develop scalable ETL processes and data transformations using Python, SQL, and IaC.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure data reliability, security, and quality through monitoring and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
