Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Application Architect to support the United States Air Force, leading design and deployment of scalable cloud-native solutions in cleared environments.

You will work with development teams to architect, build, and deploy hybrid cloud capabilities, translating customer needs into actionable solutions while guiding migration efforts in a fast-paced Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience architecting and developing scalable cloud-native apps within AWS
• 5+ years networking for hybrid cloud environments in SIPR/TS/JWICS
• 5+ years building cloud-native microservice full-stack apps and working with DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
• 4+ years IaC experience
• DoD impact levels & classifications, AWS cloud, SQL/NoSQL, air-gapped cloud environments, event-driven architectures, microservices
• DoD cloud architecture, security, or networking experience
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Cloud Architect Associate Certification
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 60 days

Responsibilities

• Work with current and new development teams to architect, build, and deploy hybrid cloud architectures
• Translate customer needs and assist with migration and solutioning of mission-critical capabilities
• Lead others and coordinate across development teams in an Agile environment
