Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Associate Cloud / AI Developer to design, build, and support Java-based cloud-native apps on Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate with DevOps, QA, product, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable services that meet security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include developing RESTful APIs, implementing CI/CD, building AI-enabled features, and ensuring observability, logging, and documentation are up to date.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop backend Java services and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Contribute to secure, scalable services guided by senior engineers and in collaboration with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and security partners.
• Build and document RESTful APIs with backward compatibility and clear usage notes.
• Assist in integrating AI services or models, following team standards for quality and monitoring.
• Participate in CI/CD activities and maintain operational runbooks and observability basics.
