Job summary

Comagine Health is seeking a Clinical Reviewer for a remote-based role in Salem, Oregon. The position requires clinical licensure (LCSW/LPC/LCPC) and at least 3 years of direct patient care experience in behavioral health. Travel to surrounding areas within Oregon is required.

You will review clinical documentation, assess medical necessity, and support care coordination for children, youth, and adults, while working within an EMR and utilizing standardized criteria.

Qualifications

• Current, active, unrestricted clinical licensure as required by the Oregon contract.
• 3 years of clinical (direct patient care) experience; behavioral health preferred.
• Candidates must reside in Oregon and have ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of services.
• Complete functional needs assessments evaluating how mental health symptoms impact daily living.
• Manage referrals, follow-ups, reviews, and assessments in the electronic medical record system.
• Apply evidence-based criteria to utilization management reviews and document determinations.
• Travel for in-person assessments as needed across the assigned region.
