Pharmacy Careers is seeking a Remote Clinical Review Pharmacist to evaluate prescriptions and treatment plans from home. Leverage clinical knowledge to assess safety, appropriateness and cost-effectiveness while collaborating with health-plan teams.

This fully remote role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to impact patient access to safe medications. Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, with clinical review or managed care experience and strong clinical writing,

Excellent clinical writing, clear and concise documentation.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving in medication reviews.
Effective communication with physicians, nurses and teams.

Responsibilities

Review prescriptions and treatment plans for safety, appropriateness and cost-effectiveness.
Apply evidence-based guidelines to determinations.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses and utilization-management teams on complex cases.
Document recommendations and decisions according to health-plan and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality initiatives and peer-to-peer discussions as needed.
