Job summary

Emory University is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support the Hope Clinic within the Vaccine Center. The role focuses on coordinating clinical trials, managing study documentation, ensuring protocol compliance, and coordinating participant activities across visits.

Responsibilities include data management, recruitment support, regulatory submissions, and potential phlebotomy under credentialing. Must be able to commute to Emory University with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/health-related or business administration field.
• Master's degree, MD or PhD in a science/health-related or business field.
• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) with clinical research experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years clinical research experience.
• Two years of college with 3 years clinical research experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages research project databases, develops flow sheets and study documents, completes source documents.
• Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
• Interacts with research participants, determines eligibility and consents per protocol.
• Approves orders for supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Assists in developing recruitment strategies and screenings for study participants.
• Supervises collection of study specimens and processing.
• Establishes case packages for procedures, monitors scheduling and charges, coordinates services.
• Ensures compliance with protocols, reviews CRFs and audits with source documents, attends sponsor meetings.
• Prepares regulatory submissions.
• May perform phlebotomy or diagnostics with credentialing and training.
• Performs other approved responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health related, or business administration related program

Master's degree, MD or PhD in a scientific, health related or business administration program

LPN license with clinical research experience

High School Diploma or GED with 5 years clinical research experience

Two years of college in a scientific, health related, or business administration program with 3 years clinical research experience
