Job summary

Actalent is seeking an entry‑level Clinical Pharmacist for a fully remote, long‑term opportunity based out of Denver, CO. The role focuses on reviewing Utilization Management requests, applying clinical judgment, and communicating decisions to providers and team members.

The position offers a remote work setup with open eligibility for most states (excluding CA, HI, AK) and a pay rate of $55.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility as described.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
• Current, active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Open to any states (except California, Hawaii, and Alaska)

Responsibilities

• Review Commercial members' Utilization Management requests, including formulary exceptions, prior authorizations, step therapy, and quantity limit exceptions.
• Apply clinical judgment to evaluate coverage determinations using client-specific criteria.
• Document clear decisions and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and team members.

Education

PharmD or BS in Pharmacy

Active Pharmacist License in good standing
