Job summary

Collaborate with oncologists and clinic staff to optimize care, manage diet plans during chemotherapy, and support the Care Management department's mission in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Services required.
• Advanced degree or training in nutrition preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in nutrition; oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s nutritional status and intervene with medical nutrition therapy.
• Provide disease-specific oncology nutrition management during chemotherapy.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition throughout treatment.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EMR in real time.
• Collaborate with oncologists and clinic staff to coordinate care.
• Support the mission of the Care Management department.
