Job summary

Parexel in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Operations professional to manage end-to-end clinical sample operations supporting biomarker studies in a fast-paced CRO environment.

The role collaborates with Precision Medicine Strategy Leads, CTM and vendor oversight to ensure samples are collected per protocol, processed accurately and tracked through disposition while upholding Parexel standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years clinical research experience in academia, CRO or pharma/biotech.
• Working knowledge of clinical trials and clinical databases.
• Laboratory sample management experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical study teams for technical and operational sample matters, liaising with SKDL, CLPM and DM groups.
• Oversee collection, processing, storage, shipping and transfer of samples and related data.
• Forecast sample operational costs, timelines and review invoices to align with budgets.
• Provide guidance on collection, storage and shipping per protocol and ICF.
• Ensure samples transferred to internal teams are documented, tracked, used and destroyed per policy.
