CommonSpirit Health is seeking a CE Network Specialist to design, implement, and support the Clinical Engineering IT environment across multiple sites in the US. The role involves repair and maintenance of medical equipment, firmware updates, and documenting IT security processes.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or network engineering or equivalent, with 6–8 years clinical engineering experience or 2 years plus Network+ and 4 years networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in electrical or network engineering.
• 6–8 years of clinical engineering experience, or 2 years with Network+ certified and 4 years networking experience.
• CRES/CBET preferred; A+/Network+ certification preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA/HITECH compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support the Clinical Engineering IT environment.
• Provide specialized repair and maintenance of medical equipment and IT devices.
• Perform electrical safety testing and preventive maintenance.
• Develop and maintain IT architecture documentation and information security processes.
• Lead medical device patching and firmware updates.
• Provide after-hours IT support per on-call policies.
