Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Clinical Data Scientist for a remote contract role to evaluate AI-generated quantitative analyses and create benchmark problems for training AI systems.

You will assess AI outputs, develop training problems across forecasting, experiment design, and statistical inference, and produce clear explanations and well-documented code that informs the next generation of AI models.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a quantitative role or research environment.
• Coding experience end-to-end.
• Practical experience with statistical methods, predictive modeling and experiment design.
• Fluency in English with strong writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s or PhD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI-generated quantitative work for technical accuracy and real-world validity.
• Develop quantitative problems for training and benchmarking AI systems across areas such as forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
• Produce clear technical explanations and well-documented analytical code.
• Provide feedback that influences the next generation of AI models built for quantitative reasoning.
