Job summary

Charlie Health is seeking a Clinical Admissions Therapist to meet with clients at admission, build rapport, and complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments to establish individualized treatment needs for diverse ages. You will collaborate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review and Clinical teams, document in the EMR, and help determine fit for virtual IOP.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments and admissions.
• Experience with virtual admissions processes.
• Ability to work with clients across a wide age range (children to adults).
• Strong communication and collaboration with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with clients and referral sources.
• Present program information to help clients access care.
• Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for various ages.
• Determine appropriateness for virtual IOP level of care.
• Construct provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM‑V criteria.
• Document client information in the EMR per regulatory standards.
• Assign treatment team members and group schedules; inform staff of new admissions.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams.
• Collaborate with referral sources (hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists).
• Cover shifts: mornings/afternoons, weekends; 11am–7pm MT or 12pm–8pm MT; remote availability.
