Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Claims Business Analyst to monitor patterns of potential fraud, waste and abuse and support investigations. You will communicate research and data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, helping to simplify the health care experience.

You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., but certain locations require a four-day in-office presence. Salary ranges provide strong compensation with comprehensive benefits and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of data analysis in claims environment.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and generate data extracts, summaries, and special projects for fraud investigations.
• Prepare pharmacy and medical claims data for investigations and collaborate with teams to understand data content.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures to promote regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Support data collection for SIU activities and generate routine regulatory and exec reports.
• Produce and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc reports on product, process and tech performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for the business and clients.
• Communicate complex findings by phone and email to non-technical clients and executives.
