Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team. You will engage in a variety of engineering tasks, providing approval on project plans for gas transmission and natural gas pipeline projects, while receiving guidance on new design topics from senior engineers.

You will collaborate with project managers and unit leaders to progress complex designs, help estimate engineering hours for proposals, and ensure quality control across projects of varying size.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, structural or civil engineering from accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry

Responsibilities

• Approve project plans for gas transmission and natural gas pipeline projects
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Unit Leaders to progress complex engineering designs
• Estimate engineering hours and assist in proposal preparation
• Ensure quality control systems are followed on projects
• Apply complex technical information to designs and meet specifications
• Support small to large multi-discipline projects and supervise engineers, drafters and designers
• Interact with clients and understand the role of business development in project goals
