Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Civic and Public Administration Expert for a remote contract role. You will craft public-sector scenarios for budget cycles, multi-agency coordination, and regulatory reviews at federal, state, and municipal levels.

You will build public policy analysis tasks, engage with constituents, and coordinate intergovernmental relations while applying policy frameworks and governance standards to deliver reference briefs and agency strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior role at a federal/state/municipal agency or in public policy/civic tech/intergovernmental org.
• Direct ownership of agency programs, public policy initiatives, or large-scale service delivery.
• Fluency in government processes and tooling, including budgets, procurement, legislative review, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Construct public-sector scenarios for large-scale budget appropriations and multi-agency coordination.
• Build civic tasks across public policy analysis, constituent services, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop public administration scenarios using govt ERP/case management, public records platforms, GIS, and CRM tools.
