Job summary

Lyra Health seeks contract psychiatrists to join its nationwide provider network delivering in-person and virtual care across the US.

You will conduct 60‑minute video intake appointments and regular follow-ups, perform psychiatric evaluations, prescribe/manage medications, and coordinate with families and care teams.

The role emphasizes culturally responsive care, flexible scheduling, paperless billing, access to clinical consultations, and 24/7 care navigation for client support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist; active state license.
• Experience with telehealth in virtual settings preferred.
• Proficient with video tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Doxy.me, Skype).
• Experience engaging families and caring for diverse youth.
• Familiar with JCAHO guidelines and accredited practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based treatment including medication management.
• Foster family-centered care and involve families in planning.
• Deliver virtual care sessions and maintain regular communication.
• Collaborate with the care team and provide consultation.
• Maintain thorough documentation and use data to monitor outcomes.
• Uphold ethics and compliance with regulatory standards.
