Job summary

South College Online seeks candidates for a full-time Chemistry faculty member to join the Health Sciences team. The position is online remote and will report directly to the Department Chair for Health Science.

The Chemistry faculty will teach twenty (20) college-level courses per year. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction, assisting with curriculum development and evaluation, and supporting institutional standards and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Chemistry required.
• Minimum 18 hours of graduate coursework in Chemistry or related courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction in each assigned online course.
• Assist in curriculum development and evaluation to align with student learning outcomes.
• Support budget, planning, and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop lectures, labs, and learning experiences for course objectives.
• Adhere to accrediting, state, and institutional standards and participate in related activities.
