Job summary

Prestige School Solutions is a premier back-office accounting firm seeking a Charter School Financial Professional (Consultant) to enhance service quality for charter school clients. The role collaborates with partners and staff, overseeing payroll, budgets, and financial reporting while maintaining real-time dashboards and participating in virtual board meetings.

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years in accounting/finance, an advanced business degree, and possibly a CPA license.

Qualifications

  • 3–10 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance or banking.
  • Advanced degree in accounting, banking, IT, or management.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Fidelity bonding eligibility and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll processing and related taxes and insurance for assigned charter school clients.
  • Oversee coding of payroll, accounts payable, cash receipts, and cash disbursements.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for client board members and school managers.
  • Maintain real-time financial dashboards for client schools.
  • Attend client board meetings (virtually) and present budget reports.
  • Develop strategies to remedy budget shortfalls for clients as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to leadership and other consultants.
