Wedmont Private Capital is hiring a Paraplanner in a fully remote role that covers the continental United States. The position is ideal for a new CFP or someone studying for the CFP exam and offers a clear path into comprehensive financial planning.

You will work closely with advisors, build financial plans for HNW/UHNW families, and develop expertise across investments, taxes, and risk management. This is a planning-focused role with no sales, and it includes a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• CFP exam preferred or candidate currently studying for the CFP exam.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial information and comply with regulations.
• Strong ethics with a client‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to foster long‑term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff to build financial plans for current and prospective clients.
• Create materials and presentations for client meetings.
• Analyze clients’ financial situations (balance sheets, income, and expenses).
• Examine and identify financial planning opportunities (investments, tax, estate planning, risk management).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
