Kaplan seeks an Adjunct Faculty for Graduate Degree Programs to deliver CFP education content with excellence. The role emphasizes subject-matter expertise, student advocacy, and creating engaging classroom experiences that help students pass the CFP exam on their first attempt.

Responsibilities include aligning with College of Financial Planning materials, applying best pedagogy, and staying current with pedagogy and technology. Remote nationwide location and per-course compensation are noted.

Qualifications

• Terminal or master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in the discipline, plus five years of financial services industry experience.
• Two of the following: CFP certifications/licensures, publications/presentations, or at least 200 teaching hours with demonstrated excellence.
• At least 1+ industry and higher education instruction experience.

Responsibilities

• Cover program and course learning outcomes in College for Financial Planning materials.
• Use best pedagogical practices to create engaging educational experiences and encourage critical thinking and academic rigor.
• Stay current with trends and advances in technology applicable to the program and pedagogy.
• Create outstanding, engaging educational experiences in College courses.
• Maintain regular communication with the College about schedules, updates and requests.
• Demonstrate respect for students and set expectations for respectful discourse.
• Provide timely feedback and refer students to appropriate departments as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by deans, chairs, or program coordinators.
