Job summary

Framework is seeking certified tutors to deliver engaging virtual tutoring to diverse K-12 students in math and ELA. Sessions range from 15 to 60 minutes, with small groups or 1:1 on a secure online platform.

Hours are Mon, Wed, Thu 5-8 PM EST; pay is $30/hour for tutoring and $20/hour for admin/prep time. Remote position; applicants must reside in the U.S. with a valid U.S. teaching license.

Qualifications

• Current, valid U.S. teaching license in General Education, Math, or ELA.
• Additional SpEd or ESL Certification a plus.
• Available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5-8 PM EST (all 3 days).
• Reliable computer with mic and camera, stable internet, and quiet workspace.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms.
• Prior online tutoring experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, virtual tutoring to students in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom.
• Use provided curriculum to engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning.
• Adapt instruction to meet each student’s needs.
• Administer provided assessments as scheduled.
• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.
