Job summary

Cook Children’s Physician Network is seeking a Certified Coding Specialist II to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for ambulatory surgery and E/M records. You will review documentation, code with accuracy, and collaborate with physicians on documentation needs.

The role requires CCS or CPC with 1 year of current ambulatory ICD-10-CM & CPT-4 experience, and strong knowledge of coding guidelines. This is a fully remote position for Texas residents, with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CCS or CPC certification with 1 year current ambulatory coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM & CPT-4; familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid rules.

Responsibilities
