Job summary

Arcwood is seeking a Truck Driver, Over-the-Road (Containers) to service routes across the region. This full-time role requires careful safety practices and adherence to DOT regulations, with opportunities to manage hazardous waste transport and container pickups.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of Class A CDL driving and Hazmat endorsement, a high-school diploma, and a strong commitment to reliability and customer service on every assignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required).
• Hazmat endorsement (required).

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by following policies and maintaining safe practices.
• Completes sequential routes with dispatcher support; maximizes drum pickups per route.
• Pre-trip inspections, fueling, and ensuring vehicle readiness.
• Completes manifests and labeling documents for each load; inspects drums/containers for proper labels.
• Maintains DOT compliance and state/federal logs.
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste and transport to facility for unloading.
• Represents the company with courteous customer service.
• Loads freight and may handle drums; takes on additional duties as needed.
