Job summary

Kaiser Permanente, a leading US healthcare organization, seeks a full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager to oversee the CDI program in a remote work environment, ensuring high-quality medical records and regulatory compliance.

You will lead QA reviews, drive process improvements, and coordinate staff training with medical leadership to promote accurate documentation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets.
• Experience in nursing, medicine, CDI, inpatient coding, quality review, or case management.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee the scheduling of documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Lead data and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities in clinical documentation processes.
• Oversee staff training and education, establishing partnerships between the CDI team and medical leadership to promote effective training programs.
