Job summary

DSV is seeking a Carrier Procurement Manager for Road US to develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize cost, service, and compliance. You will source, evaluate, onboard, and negotiate with carriers across multiple modes, including high‑risk and pharmaceutical freight, while leading performance management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in transportation, logistics, or carrier procurement.
• Experience sourcing and managing carriers for high‑value/high‑risk or pharmaceutical freight.
• Proven skills in negotiating transportation contracts and managing carrier relationships.
• Experience in brokerage, asset-based transportation, or 3PL environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute carrier procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost targets.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard carriers across multiple modes.
• Lead carrier negotiations and establish SLAs.
• Monitor performance with scorecards and KPIs; drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and regulatory standards for high-value/pharma freight.
• Collaborate with Operations, Brokerage, and Customer Solutions teams.
