Qualifications

• PhD or MD with expertise in molecular genetics, human genetics or molecular pathology.
• MS in molecular biology or genetics may be considered with exceptional performance.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in variant assessment.

Responsibilities

• Write and interpret molecular test results with literature reviews.
• Participate in updating variant classification guidelines.
• Research novel methods to assess sequence variants.
• Manage pre-classification workflow to meet turnaround times.
• Train new team members.
