Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in exercise or applied physiology, kinesiology or sports medicine.
• 2+ years experience as an exercise physiologist or trainer focused on cardiovascular health.
• ACSM or AACVPR Certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient health information prior to goal setting session.
• Works with patients on exercises for older adults with cardiovascular issues via telehealth.
• Implements exercise plans according to professional standards.
• Reviews patient progress, evaluating compliance and response to exercise.
• Leads group exercise sessions for individuals with similar health issues.
• Updates exercise programs with the clinical operations team and medical director.
• Documents information accurately and timely.
• Collaborates with health coaches, nurses, physicians, and technologists to improve services.
