Job summary

Orion Medical is seeking a Part-time Hybrid Cardiac Monitor Specialist to support remote patient monitoring of implanted cardiac devices in the Houston area. You will analyze device data and provide guidance to patients and clinicians from a remote setting.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing, cardiovascular tech, or biomedical engineering with 2+ years of device experience and may have CCDS/RCIS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, cardiovascular technology, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
• Two years of experience monitoring/maintaining cardiac devices.
• Certification in cardiac device management preferred (e.g., CCDS, RCIS).
• Knowledge of pacemakers, defibrillators, and remote monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Remotely monitors patients' cardiac devices to track performance and data.
• Reviews ECGs, logs, and diagnostic reports to assess function.
• Provides remote education and support to patients on device usage.
• Collaborates with cardiologists and staff to coordinate care.
• Responds to device alerts and documents patient interactions in EHR.
• Ensures documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
