Job summary

The Chemours Company seeks a Project Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for capital projects across chemical manufacturing facilities, including plant expansions and maintenance. You will collaborate with project teams, engineering, EPC/EPCM providers, and suppliers to ensure compliant, cost-effective procurement from FEL-1 through closeout.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years procurement, sourcing, or commercial contracting experience.
  • 5+ years supporting capital projects in chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting capital projects exceeding $5M.
  • Strong ability to lead complex supplier negotiations and manage risk.
  • Experience developing construction package strategies and procurement execution plans.
  • Advanced Excel skills and data analysis for project reporting.
  • Willingness to adhere to Chemours core values and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for capital projects from FEL-1 through closeout.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for capital projects, plant expansions, and maintenance.
  • Partner with PM, Engineering, Construction, and EPC/EPCM teams on construction package strategies.
  • Manage bidding, evaluations, negotiations, and awards for equipment, services, and contracts.
  • Recommend contracting strategies (lump sum, T&M, EPC/EPCM) based on scope and risk.
  • Drive procurement performance by reducing lifecycle costs and improving supplier performance.
  • Oversee requisition-to-purchase processes, forecasting, and governance compliance.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders; serve as primary liaison for Parkersburg, WV.
