Job summary

The Chemours Company in Parkersburg, WV is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for capital projects across chemical facilities. This role partners with engineering, construction, and EPC/EPCM teams to optimize sourcing, bidding, contracts and supplier management from FEL-1 through closeout.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement for capital projects, extensive negotiations, and solid Excel skills, with experience in SAP or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or contracting.
• 5+ years supporting capital projects in chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with capital projects exceeding $5M and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for capital projects from FEL-1 through closeout.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies for plant expansions, maintenance, and regulatory initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, and EPC/EPCM teams.
• Manage bidding, contract awards, negotiations, and supplier management.
• Drive total lifecycle cost reduction and manage procurement governance.
