Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Capital Modeling Lead, P&C Insurance, to develop internal economic capital models and analytics. You will work with ERM, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, and FP&A to expand capital insights and support strategic decisions.

The role requires deep modeling expertise, experience with ReMetrica, and the ability to communicate complex results to leadership. This is a remote-friendly position with nationwide scope and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in P&C insurance economic capital modeling or enterprise risk modeling.
• Proven ability to design or build stochastic models, not just operate existing ones.
• Strong understanding of Monte Carlo simulations, VaR/TVaR, dependency modeling, and capital attribution.
• Experience with catastrophe modeling outputs in capital analytics.
• Ability to communicate sophisticated quantitative concepts to nontechnical business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop CSAA's internal economic capital modeling capabilities.
• Independently reproduce, challenge, and enhance existing model calculations and methodologies.
• Design and build stochastic economic capital models incorporating underwriting, reserves, catastrophe, investment, and credit risks.
• Collaborate with ERM, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, Product Management, catastrophe modeling, and FP&A to expand capital analytics usage.
• Develop analyses translating capital results into actionable business insights and strategic plans.
